İki Köpekte Zoonotik Oküler Thelaziosis İnfeksiyonu ve Tedavisi

A 1.5-year-old female, hunting dog and a 6-year-old male crossbred presenting with eye discharge, conjunctival hyperemia swelling were reported in this study.After local anesthetic drug was administered, oph-thalmological examination revealed variable degree of ocular blepharospasm, hyperemia, the presence movable parasites hidden behind third eyelid membrane. total 15 (5 males, 10 fe-males) removed from eyes both cases. All submitted to department parasitology for morphological identification. According parasitological findings, thepatients diag-nosed thelaziasis. For treatment, single time 10% imidacloprid 2.5% moxidectin spot on (Advocate®, Bayer, Slovakia) applied tobramycine-dexamethasone (Tobradex®, Alcon, Turkey) 3 times day, fusidic acid (Fucithalmic®, Abdi Ibrahim, twice day usedtopically 2 weeks. Mechanical removal medical treatment positive patients.
